Our Continuity Package encompasses a wealth of additional holistic and clinical services to enhance your well-being

  • A birth pool offers warm water immersion to support comfort, relaxation and natural pain relief during labour and birth. The buoyancy of water eases pressure on the body, promotes movement, supports optimal positioning and can help create a calm, protected birthing space, at home or in hospital.

At Rosebuds, birth pools and sterile liners are available, with full setup guidance provided to ensure safety, comfort and a deeply supported birth experience.

  • A TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) machine is a simple, drug-free method of pain relief used in early and active labour. Gentle electrical pulses applied to the lower back help reduce pain signals, support endorphin release and provide a sense of control and comfort.

At Rosebuds, TENS machines are available with full guidance on use, supporting calm, active labour while working in harmony with your body and your birth.

  • A birth sling is a gentle, supportive tool used in pregnancy and labour to encourage comfort, movement and optimal positioning for birth. It can help relieve pressure, support the belly, ease back discomfort and promote upright, active labour, working with your body and your baby.

At Rosebuds, birth slings are available for use and guidance is provided, helping you feel supported, strong and connected throughout your birthing journey.

  • A birth comb is a simple yet powerful comfort tool used during labour. By gripping the comb firmly in your hand, the pressure stimulates acupressure points and works with the body’s natural pain-gate response, helping to redirect sensation and increase endorphin release.

Small, portable and easy to use, a birth comb offers women an active way to stay grounded, focused and in control during contractions. At Rosebuds, we guide you in using this gentle tool as part of your personalised labour support.

  • Rosebuds Midwifery offers midwife-supervised Entonox (nitrous oxide and oxygen) for women labouring and birthing at home. Commonly known as “gas,” Entonox provides fast-acting, self-controlled pain relief while allowing you to remain mobile, aware and in control of your birth.

Used safely under skilled midwifery guidance, Entonox can help take the edge off contractions, support calm breathing and enhance comfort while working gently with your body and your labour in your own home.

Let’s Connect If you would like further information or wish to discuss care options in more detail, I’m always happy to chat and help you plan care that feels right for you and your family.

Important Note

We are limited to taking four full package bookings per month. This intentional limitation is crucial to ensuring the highest level of care, with only two women per midwife at any given time. This model allows us to maintain a high standard of support and personalised attention. If the Full Care Package is an option you are considering, we encourage you to enquire early as spots can fill quickly.
